They can be installed without any interior support poles, or external guy ropes or straps. All fabric roof panels and sidewall sections slide in grooves integrated directly into the aluminum beam extrusions, and are tensioned down directly to the frame, eliminating the flapping vallances and billowing sidewalls that are problematic with other, less advanced tent designs.
